Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre Selects 1Call for Enterprise-Wide Call Center Solution

The 1Call Division of AMTELCO, a leader in developing and implementing healthcare-specific call center and communications solutions, is pleased to announce a new agreement with Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre (part of Capital Health), located in Halifax, Nova Scotia. With this agreement, 1Call will provide Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre (QEII) with a call center system that will allow them to manage incoming calls and requests in a more efficient and effective manner.

The 16-operator/agent 1Call Infinity system that will be installed at QEII will include:

  • On-Call Scheduling - To better manage the 200+ On-Call schedules that exist each day
  • RTI -For importing patient information on a real-time basis
  • Voice Logger - A software-based call recording solution that automatically records operator/agent involvement with incoming and outgoing calls
  • Browser/Web-based applications - To give physicians and staff fast access to information, including On-Call Schedules and Directories

The 1Call Infinity system is modular, allowing facilities to create systems to meet their unique needs. Each of the 1Call Infinity modules is specifically designed to improve efficiency and communications, helping healthcare facilities provide better service for patients, while containing costs.
