     Save Time and Speed Call Processing with Infinity’s Auto ANI Routing  

 

 

McFarland, WI - September 2005 - The 1Call Division of AMTELCO is pleased to announce another new feature designed to save time for physicians and their staff by automatically routing a caller, based on the Automatic Number Identification (ANI), also known as Caller ID. Using Infinity’s Auto ANI Routing speeds call processing by automatically sending a call, for example, from the physician’s office directly to a voice message that lets them confirm they are calling to forward their phones. In addition to saving time for physicians, the Auto ANI Routing feature frees operators to handle more incoming calls from callers who need to leave a message.

 

Using the new Infinity Auto ANI Routing feature, based on the ANI, callers will:

  • Hear a special greeting, letting them know their phone is forwarded, for example
  • Be sent to the voice check-in line, allowing physicians or staff to pick up messages
  • Follow the behavior of another account, by having a particular ANI set to change to a different account
A few of the many possible uses of Infinity’s new Auto ANI Routing include:
  • Eliminating calls to operators while simplifying check-in and check-out procedures for a physician’s office staff
  • Routing after-hours calls from a physician’s home or cellular directly to a dispatch operator
  • Sending calls from a specific patient to a particular operator, or a supervisor
  • Preventing unwanted callers from reaching an operator
  • Directing a physician’s call to the manager

The Auto ANI numbers and routing are set up individually per account, giving call centers the ability to customize the call routing for each physician or department. This feature functions on all account types, including live operator, voice mail, and check-in. Infinity ANI Routing is available with Infinity Software Version 5.3.
