     1Call Announces Infinity Software Version 5.5 Release  

 

 

McFarland, WI - March 2008 – 1Call is pleased to announce the release of Infinity Software Version 5.5. This latest software version offers significant Infinity computer telephony integration enhancements, along with many new Infinity and Infinity IS features designed to help healthcare organizations eliminate errors, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.


The Infinity Software Version 5.5 features include:

  • Infinity Unity Voice Logger – Combines the reliability of the Infinity server with the features of Voice Logger. Calls are recorded using the Voice Processing and Conferencing resources in the Infinity server, simplifying connections for both local and remote workstations.
  • 4U Rack Chassis – Features configurable backplane options, three redundant hot-swap power supplies with separate AC inputs, and PCI slots that support the new high density boards.
  • High Density Computer Telephony Integration – MC-3, T1/E1 with Voice Processing, VoIP with SIP Trunking and VoIP Operator Audio across the hospital network.
  • Real-Time Backup – Backs up entire Infinity database, including voice data, to backup server on a real-time basis.
  • ANI Call Screening – Use to apply special behaviors, such as blocking certain calls, to specific ANI numbers.
  • Template Accounts – Simplify setting up new accounts.
  • Custom Screen Colors – Infinity screens now follow the Windows® color scheme.
The Infinity IS Software Version 5.5 features include:
  • Infinity IS Directory – The IS Directory is now the focal point for Directory Services, On-Call Scheduling, Contact-Based Dispatching, and Contact Status. Operators can view Directories in the new Details view, which shows everything related to the Listing, including Contact Methods and On-Call Schedule assignments. Supervisors can edit all aspects of a Directory Listing in one place, simplifying the process of updating information.
  • Infinity IS Web Directory – Web-enable IS Directories to give access to select physicians, departments and staff.
  • Infinity IS Directory Exporting – IS Directories can be easily exported with the new Directory Export option.
  • Infinity IS Directory On-Call Scheduling – Directories can also include an unlimited number of On-Call Schedules. Operators can view the On-Call Schedule, and can override schedule assignments when needed. The IS Directory Listings provide the resources for on-call coverage assignments. New Contact Roles define the types of coverage each resource is available for.
  • Infinity IS Web On-Call Scheduling – IS Directories can be Web-enabled to provide access to physicians and staff from virtually anywhere.
  • Infinity IS Directory Contacts – IS Directories can be set up as Contact Directories, which are used with Contact-Based Dispatching. Contact Directories allow supervisors to add the applicable Contact Methods for each Directory Listing.
  • Infinity IS Contact-Based Dispatching – For each contact, determine the contact methods, including phone, pager, e-mail, and the new direct SMS text messaging. Dispatch reminders prompt operators to perform the required follow-up actions.
  • Infinity IS Physician Referral – Includes a script and database with custom search criteria to select a matching physician.
  • Infinity IS Custom Reporting – The powerful IS reporting engine allows reports to be run immediately, or scheduled to run automatically. Reports can be customized to meet each organization’s specific needs.
  • Infinity IS Web-Based Reporting – IS reports can be run from the new IS Web, giving users fast, easy access from anywhere! Physicians and staff can also be given access to reports related to their accounts.
  • Full Screen IS Messaging – For each account, message scripts can be shown in quadrant mode, or full screen mode.
  • Dynamic Script Elements – Vital information, such as the on-call physician’s name, is automatically entered in the script, eliminating confusion and speeding calls.
  • Script Shortcut Keys – Save time for operators when they simply press a shortcut key.
  • Dynamic Web Link – Message scripts can pop a Web page and pass dynamic information to the Web page, such as using the caller’s address to get directions to a clinic.
  • Convert Infinity Message Forms to IS – Supervisors can quickly change standard Infinity message forms to an IS Message Script.
  • CMI Integration – IS Messaging and Client Management Intelligence (CMI) are fully integrated, allowing IS to automatically build contact databases using messages taken by operators, and pull a patient’s information from CMI into a message script. Scheduled activities can be automatically created in CMI for physicians and staff.
