Patient Safety Awareness Week
Did you know today begins Patient Safety Awareness Week (PSAW)? According to the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, this annual event is a dedicated time to increase awareness about patient safety among health professionals and the public. This year PSAW will run March 10-16, 2019.
Multiple studies repeatedly find that clear communications are always a key to quality patient care. The impact of ineffective communications has a significant role on the quality of care patients receive as well as on healthcare organizations’ bottom lines.
We partner with hospitals and clinics to help keep patients safe by streamlining workflows, providing accurate and fast communication software for hospital call centers, and enhancing the way disparate software systems work within hospitals with our integration engine software to improve interoperability.
Patients often have a whole team of medical professionals treating them. The Institute of Medicine found that each year the average elderly patient sees 7 physicians across 4 different practices. Hospitals trust our miSecureMessages secure messaging app to protect patient health information when they communicate with each other. miSecureMessages simplifies hospital communications to ensure fast, reliable, encrypted communications when sending secure text, photo, audio, and video content - which helps care teams provide better patient care.
The reason we partner with hospitals and clinics, is because we are all patients and all care for loved ones. We are honored that healthcare organizations trust us to help them provide the best patient experience.
